Jersey All Pro Wrestling returned to Rahway, NJ at the Rahway Recreation Center for its seventh anniversary show before a crowd of over 600 for a marathon evening that went well past 12 midnight.

The event was overshadowed by a major injury to CZW and TNA wrestler Sonjay Dutt, who suffered a dislocated elbow, that had first been feared to have been a broken arm as the result of a bad fall off of a stacked suplex type move. Dutt landed wrong and it was immediately clear that this was a serious injury. Dutt was taken away by ambulance.

Match results:

  • Justice Pain defeated Insane Dragon. Pain largely carried the match. Dixie and Deranged jumped Pain post-match, which led right into....

  • In a four way match, The Solution defeated The H Effect, All Money is Legal and H20. Kind of a mixed finish with a running fireball being thrown by Jonny D.

  • In an excellent debut match for both in JAPW, Kevin Steen defeated Excess 69. These two were new to most of the crowd, with the exception of the CZW fans who came up for the show, who saw them last week at the CZW doubleheader. Toward the end, the Kevin Steen package piledriver was teased repeatedly until until he hit it for the finish.

  • In a Socal-IWS match, Super Dragon defeated Beef Wellington with the Psycho Driver. Wellington (no, not the original) is a hilarious character who has something called the "ass punch" (think donkey punch off the top rope...sold as a sort-of-serious move)

  • The SAT and Red vs. Sonjay Dutt, Mdogg20 and Josh Prohibition went to a no contest after the injury occurred to Dutt. The match went about 6-7 minutes, when Dutt took a bad bump off a weird high spot he was doing on one of the Maximos. It looked as though Maximo took it wrong, with both falling and Dutt landing with a clearly injured arm. The crowd never quite got back into the show until the main event matches.

  • In the highspot fiesta you'd expect it to be, Jack Evans defeated Chasyn Rance, The Grim Reefer, and IWS's El Generico in the Best of the Junior Heavyweights/elimination match. Rance didn't seem to get that much in and was out first. El Generico was defeated next, but won over the crowd after the brainbuster on the top turnbuckle. Evans next pinned Reefer after an unbelievable 630 for the win.

  • Dan Maff defeated Trent Acid (with the returning Johnny Kashmere at ringside). Kashmere was harassed by CZW fans in the crowd. Acid got most of the offense in the match before Maff nailed Acid with a burning hammer into a bridge of chairs set up in the ring.

  • In a major disappointment of a match, Low-Ki defeated B-Boy. Low Ki got what seemed like 90% of the offense in the match and chopped B-Boy's chest bloody.

  • In what was supposed to be a no DQ match, Homicide vs. Teddy Hart went to a no contest.

Homicide stiffed the hell out of Hart, after Hart initially carried the match. Homicide opened up Hart, then bloodied Hart with a fork. Homicide beat on Hart some more, then took out the referee. The match was then thrown out in what seemed like a cheap finish to a no-DQ match. The crowd was not happy with Hart or the finish. Post-match, the parade of run-ins started. Jack Evans ran in to help Hart, and was stopped by Low-Ki. B-Boy came out, teased helping Hart, then Low Ki, along with B-Boy and Homicide started beating the crap out of Evans and Hart.

  • In the main event, Jay Lethal beat Azrieal in a ladder match. This was easily ther match of the night. There were a aton of great spots. The two beat the hell out of each other with countless sick ladder spots. The match went into the crowd, with Azreal mouthing at Jey Lethal's mother (who is almost legendary for her support of her son and her distinctive tone of voice in yelling), then throwing a soda at Lethal's father, who decked Azrael.

JAPW returns to Rahway, NJ on October 30.
