Ring of Honor returned to Chicago Ridge, IL last night.
Here are the results:
Jay Lethal defeated Delirious
Traci Brooks defeated Daizze Haze in a short match.
Josh Daniels defeated Trent Acid, Matt Sydal, Angel Dust in a Four Corner Survival match. Daniels won with a belly-to-back suplex on Angel Dust. They did a duel pins finish with the ref counted Daniels' fall instead of Acid's (Acid was pinning Sydal).
Nigel McGuiness and Chad Collyer defeated Dan Maff and BJ Whitmer. Mick Foley cut a great promo, which was reported to be the best part of the match. The match itself was said to be confusing with rules going back and forth from pure wrestling rules and hardcore rules. The crowd responded accordingly.
The Carnage Crew defeated CM Punk’s students wth a top rope spike piledriver
In what was said to be a good match, Generation Next's Roderick Strong and Jack Evans defeated The Rottwielers (Homicide and Rocky Romero) when Evans pinned Romero following a 630 splash from the top rope.
Alex Shelley defeated Jimmy Jacobs in an I Quit match.
Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk went to a 60 minute time limit draw. Several onlione reports said the match was even better than their match in Dayton in June. Punk got on the mic after the match and said he would face Joe again in a no time limit match the next time ROH came to Chicago, which is in February 2005. Click
