Jersey All Pro Wrestling 12/10 Rahway, NJ live results

(Courtesy: PWBTS.com- come to PWBTS for Armageddon results tomorrow night)

Jersey All Pro Wrestling returned to the Rahway Recreation Center for "Sesaon's Beatings" with a 4 1/2 hour marathon of excellent wrestling that started at 8:15 (actually at 7:50 pm, if one counts the dark matches) and didn't end until 12:25 am. This is the first of two (and for some diehards traveling to Detroit for the Sabu benefit...three) high-profile independent shows in three days.

The crowd was solid, but a bit lower than some Saturday shows; largely due to the need to run Friday, so as to avoid the small crowd that occurred in 2003 when JAPW ran head to head against Cage of Death, with a first time Northeast main event of AJ Styles-Christopher Daniels.

Dark matches

  • EC Negro defeated Corvis Fear of H2O

  • Erick Stevens defeated Archadia

  • Beef Wellington defeated Rush Margera (replacing the scheduled Grim Reefer)

    "Sesaon's Beatings" results

  • Carnage Crew over Dixie and Deranged (with Insane Dragon) with a stacked spike piledriver.

  • Kevin Steen defeated Sexxxy Eddy by pinfall, after a sick looking move called the Steenalizer that can only be described as a wheelbarrow Storm Cradle Driver

  • Christopher Street Connection defeated The Solution (Papadon and Havok, come the new JAPW Tag Team Champions. In the "Gotta be secure about his manhood" moment of the night, Jonny D got a full on kiss on the lips from one of the Christopher Street Connection after trying to interfere with a chair attack and Buff E kissed him. Mace then rolled up Papadon for the win.

  • Roderick Strong defeated Super Dragon by submission in an incredibly stiff match

  • In the career vs. title match, Azrieal defeated Jay Lethal by clean pinfall in the middle of the ring to become the new JAPW Light Heavyweight Champion.

  • Jack Evans defeated El Generico to become number one contender for the JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship, after an unbelievable moonsault DDT followed by a turnaround 630 senton. God only knows what he'll cook up tonight at Cage of Death.... I'm almost scared to find out what sick sort of move he'll attempt off of the cage or whatever else is being constructed for this year's Cage of Death.

  • Teddy Hart over B-Boy after Hart did a roll up counter to B Boy's second shining wizard attempt.

Next, in a old school moment right out of the 1982 Christmas night Dusty Rhodes-Kevin Sullivan "Loser Leaves Town Steel Cage Match" where Jake Roberts disguised as Santa Claus, sent Rhodes out of Florida (leading to the infamous Midnight Rider storyline)
Low Ki came out dressed as Santa Claus, first giving out presents (JAPW t-shirts and other gimmicks) to the crowd with JAPW's Ray Sager, then joined by Jack Evans. Santa then wound up atttacking Evans, took off his beard and hat, and was then joined by the Strong Style Thugs Homicide and B-Boy.

  • Dan Maff and Samoa Joe went to a time limit draw. The crowd seems to crap on the match, although had the same match occurred at a ROH show, the match would have been cited as another great Samoa Joe title defense. The time limit finish was botched as Maff went for the last second pin, the referee went for the count, but inexplicably, the timekeeper didn't ring the bel, leaving the referee to do a phantom count, which he had to stop when the timekeeper still didn't come out of his coma. The Modtrom crew will have an interestintg editing job for the commercial tape.

They set up an eventual Jay Lethal challenge, as Lethal went to pick up the belt after the match, with a great visual of Maff and Lethal holding onto each end of the belt.

  • Homicide over AJ Styles by pinfall with a copkiller (Kudo Driver). The crowd stayed into this, even with the match starting

As the match began, "F%$k TNA" chants came from the crowd. Styles heard the chants, and sheepishly made a gesture of rubbing his finger together, as if to say "they pay my bills". The crowd then broke into a LOUD "F%$k Jeff Jarrett" chant, which led to Styles laughing and pointing to the crowd with seeming approval.

The finish saw Sean Hansen get nailed in a well-times ref bump as Styles did his moonsault reverse DDT spot, catching Hansen, instead of Homicide. As this was happening, all in one motion, Homicide leveled AJ with a lariat. The Strong Style Thugs (Low Ki and B-Boy) ran in, AJ tried to fight them off, then tried to Styles Clash Low Ki, but Homicide hit him with the Kudo Driver for the pinfall,
