Ring of Honor 1/15 Cambridge, MA results Posted by Bob Magee Ring of Honor returned to the National Guard Armory in Cambridge, MA drawing a crowd of nearly 700 fans.
Results of the show are:
Spanky defeated Alex Shelley by pinfall.
Azrieal (aka Angel Dust as part of Special K) defeated Deranged by DQ when the heel contingent of Special K hit the ring. Dunn and Marcos made the save.
Roderick Strong defeated Alex Law and Ricky Landell (both Steve Corino trainees), and two of the ROH Academy students. Before the match, Strong pulled himself out of the Ultimate Endurance match, stating he "didn’t want to win the ROH Tag Team championships with anyone other than Jack Evans" (due to Evans's injury at the WAR show Friday night).
Post-match, Strong kept beating on Law and Landell which brought out Corino for the save.
Jay Lethal and Josh Daniels defeated The Outkast Killaz.
In the Ultimate Endurance match, ROH Tag Team champions The Havana Pitbulls successfully defended their titles, defeating CM Punk/Steve Corino and The Carnage Crew.
In what was reported as the evening's stiff-fest, Samoa Joe defeated Nigel McGuiness. Since he can't use his former entrance mix, any longer (not being "Champ"), Joe’s came out last night to LL Cool J’s “I’m Gonna Knock You Out".
In a submission match, Homicide defeated American Dragon Bryan Danielson in a Tap Out match.
Post-match, the Havana Pitbulls tried to jump American Dragon, but failed. American Dragon then said to the crowd that the second match in his series with Homicide would be a Taped Fist Match.
In his first ROH world title defense, Austin Aries defeated Colt Cabana. Aries nailed Cabana with a brainbuster on the entrance ramp.
The show ended with the "confrontation" between Samoa Joe and Mick Foley. Foley seemed to tease heel, saying he "gets a lot of money to wrestle for WWE". As Joe turned to leave, Foley struck him with the ring mike. In the mystery wrestler moment, foreshadowing the February 19th show in Elizabeth with Samoa Joe against "Foley's mystery wrestler", someone (presumably the "mystery wrestler") from behind the ring curtain handed Foley a steel chair, who then used it for several chair shots and a DDT on the chair on the floor.
