Jersey All Pro Wrestling 4/24 Rahway, NJ results

Jersey All Pro Wrestling returned last night to the Rahway Recreation Center, in Rahway, NJ, before a record crowd of 720 .

Match results were as follows:

  • Corvis Fear and Rush defeated The Christopher Street Connection (with Jail Bait). Post-match, Mike Awesome and Monsta Mac stormed the ring and attacked both teams. Mike then Awesomebombed Rush over the top rope, through a table to the floor. Dan Maff made the save, battled Awesome in the crowd in a wild brawl with chairs flying through out the ringside area before being broken up by the locker room.

  • Justice Pain defeated The Insane Dragon in an surprisngly good match.

  • Trent Acid defeats M Dogg 20 and Roderick Strong in a match that was good while it lasted, but was too short.

  • Teddy Hart introduced his new valet, "his new" ring announcer (Stephen DeAngelis) and his "Mr. Teddy Hart Security Team" who were then destroyed by Trent Acid.

  • Light Heavyweight Champion Jay Lethal retained his title defeating Azrieal in a No DQ Match.

  • In a basically forgettable match, The Solution defeated Shaolin Wrecking Crew to win the JAPW Tag Team Titles after manager Jonny D hit Suba with a fireball.

  • Harry Smith and TJ Wilson, the Stampede Bulldogs defeated H-Effect (Dixie and Deranged)

  • Teddy Hart defeated The Amazing Red after a wild 30 minute match that saw the two all over the building, including through the bleachers.

    But the match wasn't just notable for the excellent in-ring action (and the action through the stands).

    As the match began, Red came out wearing a TNA shirt (presumably by TNA request). This set off a significant portion of the crowd in the bleachers (many of whom were New York Ring of Honor fans), into loud chants that spread such as with "F--- TNA", "F--- Bob Ryder", "TNA sucks", "F--- Jeff Jarrett", and "Tear that shirt off". As the chants began, Red looked up at the crowd and smiled. For whatever reason, Red tore the TNA shirt off as the brawl through the bleachers went on and disappeard among the fans who'd started the chanting.

  • JAPW Heavyweight Champion Dan Maff defeated Mike Awesome (with Monsta Mack and The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz). Mike Awesome headed back to the lockerroom as La Familia laid out Maff.

    Vader then hit the ring to one of the biggest pops in JAPW history and destroyed La Famila. Vader then turned around and attacked Maff. Mike Awesome returned to ringside and joined in the attack. Vader the made "a 3 count" as Awesome covered Maff. Vader and Awesome challenged Dan Maff to a tag team match on June 5th. Maff will team with Samoa Joe. Awesome left the ring with Dan Maff's JAPW title.

    JAPW returns to the Rahway Recreation Center on June 5th with a main event of Dan Maff and Samoa Joe vs. Vader and Mike Awesome, a JAPW Light Heavyweight Title Match fearuting Jay Lethal defending against Sonjay Dutt and B Boy vs. Trent Acid.
